ALIGNMENT AND USE OF PROPS IN KUNDALINI YOGA

Two Part Workshop on Saturday 27th August 1000-1300 & 1400-1700 £35 each or 10% discount for both spaces limited.

Kundalini yoga does not traditionally work with modifications ensuring correct energy movement. Utilising props and pre-requisite postures can assist a student’s progression and ease of wellbeing. These workshops instruct how to use props, layer teaching techniques, and specific exercises to assist posture and alignment in and out of class.

The first 3 hr workshop will focus on joint movement and safe activation of muscle groups for support and development. Effective warm ups aligned with kriya, the use of props in common postures along with simple back bends and inversions.

The second progressive workshop enables instructors and students to practically work with props in advancing postures, inversions, spinal extensions and the affect of gravity on the body.

KUNDALINI MEDITATION
September 2nd and 16th 1800-1900, £11 for both classes.

RESTORATIVE YOGA
September 9th and 18th 1800-1930, £15 for both classes.

BEGINNERS YOGA CLASS
Starting Sunday September 4th 1230-1430 at Bursledon Village Hall £60 for 6 Weeks. 4th, 11th, 18th September and 16th, 23rd, 30th October.

YOGA & TANTRIC NUMEROLOGY SATURDAY (TBA)

The art and science of the ten bodies allows you to realize that any disharmony you experience can be identified and then restored to harmony. It’s a practical model for understanding your own psyche, and it gives you a technology to practice that allows you to achieve balance in your life. The real gift of the ten bodies system of numerology is how quick and simple it is, it teaches you to consciously access all the great, powerful parts of yourself. During the workshop we will be doing the 10 bodies Kundalini yoga specific kriya, looking at the 10 bodies and working out your own personal tantric numerology (date of birth) to find out what your attributes are and how you can utilise specific exercise system or meditation within Kundalini yoga to enhance your life.

DESTRESS WORKSHOP (TBA)

Knowledge is power; learn about the affects of stress and how to combat these effects by simple breathing, posture, meditation techniques and Kundalini kriya. The workshop will be initiated with a Kundalini yoga simple set, a talk with work book to take away on physiological responses of the human form during stress. Simple hatha yoga postures, specific breathing techniques, meditation, Kundalini yoga kriya closing with restorative yoga and simple vegetarian lunch.
